My go to spot for a quick lunch and a great steak. Service is good. Never had an issue at this location.
Barbie & I eat at the Southwest Freeway location frequently. Mgr. James & Mgr. 'Yelle run a Top Shelf Operation there. Our Server Corry & his Trainee Assistant, Jaclyn, took great care in providing us with a very enjoyable dining experience. We've been visiting this location for many years and will continue to return, again and again! Thanks ya'll!!
This location is always fun. We like to go during the week when happy hour starts at 3 p.m. and ends at 7 p.m. Good prices on cocktails, wine and beer as well as a good happy hour food menu. The bartenders are always great and hard working. This has become one of our regular go-to places. Always a fun experience at the bar seeing some of us regulars and meeting new and interesting people. We love the Texas decor and there is lots of free surface parking.
The food is always excellent, our steaks are always cooked to perfection, the Texas Tea is always our favorite, we had wonderful service, and of course the atmosphere is always welcoming. Saltgrass never lets us down..
Briauna is the best!! First time at this Saltgrass; it was super busy so we sat at the bar to drink and eat. She is a gem! Made us feel like family and treated everyone with the same love and attention. So many Saltgrass restaurant choices. Thank you, Bri!! We will be back because of you! Food was super yummy and hot when served.
I KEEP FORGETTING NOT TO ORDER THE BRUSSEL SPROUTS SIDE - it's mainly a dish of kind of burned up stuff lol - everything else was good, chicken breast and broccoli and green beans.
Me and my executive board were looking for a great place to celebrate our end of year service with a good meal (preferably Steak). This was my first time dining at Saltgrass Steakhouse. We selected the Katy Freeway location since it was closest to the conference hotel. Our waitstaff was very hospitable, fast and friendly. Saltgrass features that Cowboy decor with a Texas authenticity and that's always nice. I enjoyed reading about the reason behind the "Saltgrass" name on the menu - I learned a thing or two. The food!!! The cook on the steak was flavorful, juicy, and delicious, the ribs were fall of the bone good, it's like it melted in my mouth, so tender. Our group ordered the sampler which also gives you a little of everything including fried onion slivers, jalepeno poppers, chips and queso, etc. The crab cake order was just enough and the cakes were a great size - tasty with a little bit of kick to it. Yum!! I ordered their special drink being offerd ( grilled pineapple cocktail) which was ok, not as sweet as I imagined it would be. So many good things to choose from on the menu though so come hungry!. Our group was well taken care of and it was appreciated. I'll be back for sure!
